Accessibility Policy

cmmcalibrationpittsburgh.com is built against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, with accessibility folded into the site's quality standard from the start.

That target shows up as contrast-compliant text, headings kept in a logical order, form fields with visible labels and clear error messages, text alternatives on every image, and full keyboard operability. Conformance gets reviewed every time pages change.

Known gaps exist, mostly where third-party material is involved. Certificates and scope documents supplied as PDFs by third parties may not carry tags for screen readers, and older uploaded files may be missing text alternatives.

Barriers are reported through the contact page, which also lists the contact details for the desk that handles them. Acknowledgement follows within three (3) business days.

Correction of the underlying page takes as long as it takes; in the meantime the information requested is supplied in an alternative format, whether plain email, large print, or read over the telephone. The barrier itself holds up no request.
